At EXACT we specialize in custom homes, major renovations, and complex lake-property projects throughout Southwest Michigan. Our work is defined not just by craftsmanship, but by clear planning, good communication, and hands-on leadership from start to finish.

My name is Peter Brubaker
I am the president and builder behind EXACT General Contractors. With more than two decades of experience spanning framing and roofing, building lifting and relocation, and high-end residential and commercial construction, I bring deep hands-on knowledge and practical experience to every project I lead.
Prior to founding EXACT in early 2022, I managed complex residential projects with Bullseye Construction and worked throughout the Midwest with Wolfe House & Building Movers saving and relocating historic structures—experiences that shaped my approach to planning, coordination, and problem-solving. I also enjoy the business fundamentals of accounting, design, and technology, and lead projects with clarity, structure, and attention to detail.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Leah, and our five children—boating, camping, motorcycling and enjoying life in Southwest Michigan. It’s a privilege to live and build near our home in Cassopolis, serving clients who value creativity, and appreciate the importance of a well-built home.
